We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Service Advisor Assistant to support our Service Advisor team and help deliver an excellent customer experience from start to finish.

About the Role
As a Service Advisor Assistant, you will help greet customers, answer phones, schedule appointments, communicate with customers, collect payments, and assist the Service Advisor with daily service department operations. You will also help act as a liaison between customers and our service technicians to ensure vehicles move through the repair process smoothly.
The right person for this role will be warm, professional, organized, and able to make customers feel comfortable and cared for.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Greet service department customers promptly and courteously
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with questions
- Schedule customer appointments
- Communicate with customers by phone, text, and in person
- Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup
- Collect payments and assist with cash handling procedures
- Help follow up with customers after service visits
- Assist the Service Advisor with repair orders and customer updates
- Help communicate customer concerns and repair needs to the service team
- Assist with selling repairs and services when needed, under the guidance of a Service Advisor
- Help maintain a professional, organized, and positive customer experience
- Keep the Service Advisor and Service Manager informed of customer concerns or potential issues
- Order parts and keep track of returns.
Training May Include

- Listening to customers and clearly documenting their concerns
- Translating customer concerns into information our technicians can use
- Learning how to provide accurate repair and maintenance estimates
- Following up on repairs and keeping customers informed of progress
- Reviewing and explaining repairs and costs with customers
- Learning low-pressure, high-integrity sales methods
- Assisting with extended warranty processes
- Handling minor customer concerns or complaints professionally
- Following company policies for vehicle care and customer service
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

- Some automotive knowledge or interest in the automotive industry
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and phone skills
- The ability to work well with customers, technicians, and team members
- Dependability and a willingness to learn
Preferred Experience
- Automotive service experience is a plus
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in automotive sales is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair processes is helpful
- Experience with point-of-sale systems or cash handling is a plus
- A background in automotive repair is a plus
